DFW Airport Smoking Area
If you are traveling through DFW Airport and you are a smoker and want to have one shot before your flight, you can't have it inside the DFW airport Terminals. At the lower level outside of each terminal there are designated smoking areas but to access those areas, one has to come out of the terminal passing the security, Make sure to carry your boarding pass and identification proof along with you as you have to re-enter the terminal.
Is Smoking Allowed At Dallas/Fort Worth Airport (DFW)?
Smoking is not allowed inside any terminal or public area at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). This is in compliance with Texas state law, which prohibits smoking in all enclosed public places and workplaces.
DFW does have designated smoking areas outside of the terminals, located near the entry doors. These areas are marked with signs and are typically located at least 25 feet away from any entrance.
If you are a smoker and need to smoke before your flight, it's recommended that you arrive early to allow enough time to go through security and make your way to a designated smoking area outside of the terminal. It's important to note that smoking inside the airport can result in a fine.
Dallas/Fort Worth Airport (DFW) Smoking Area
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has designated smoking areas outside the terminals for passengers who wish to smoke. These areas are located near the curbside or parking garages, and they are marked with signs.
There are a total of 21 designated smoking areas at DFW airport, located at the following terminals
- Terminal A: 3 smoking areas
- Terminal B: 3 smoking areas
- Terminal C: 3 smoking areas
- Terminal D: 6 smoking areas
- Terminal E: 3 smoking areas
- Terminal F: 3 smoking areas
Each smoking area is equipped with ashtrays and benches for your convenience. It's important to note that smoking is not allowed inside the terminals, gates, or other indoor areas of the airport. Additionally, smoking is banned in most public places in Texas, so it's important to follow local laws and regulations.
